RISERVA PRIMA
THE LONG HARVEST

Every shadow cast by the vine carries the memory of a hundred harvests. From the glacial soils to the hands of the vigneron, the first quiet signs of a labor rooted in Franciacorta’s history. Between light and work, the vineyard leaves its mark — on the land, and on those who tend it.

Riserva Prima – The Long Harvest takes the viewer inside the rhythm of the grape harvest, from the rows of vines to the cellar. The reportage focuses on the gestures and moments that often go unnoticed: hands gently picking grapes, workers bending over the soil, clusters being sorted, crates filled and carried, the hum of activity in the winery as the harvest is transformed into wine. The light shifts over the landscape, across the leaves, and through the cellar windows, revealing the textures and colors of the season.

Each photograph captures a moment of concentration, care, and effort. This is a harvest that demands patience, precision, and attention, where every action contributes to something larger than itself. The reportage shows not only the physical work, but also the rhythm, the timing, and the quiet dedication that make this process possible.

This project is a meditation on work, connection, and tradition. It portrays the people who live and breathe the vineyard every day, the land that shapes them, and the craft that transforms grapes into wine. In these images, labor, light, and human presence meet — showing the harvest as it truly is: lived, felt, and shared.
